Estou convencida de que esta música pode ser tanto sobre o Amor (parece óbvio) como sobre Deus (atente-se na letra, também parece óbvio quando se pensa nisso) - o que para muito boa gente vai dar ao mesmo. O vídeo dá conta de uma "boa acção" (é assim que o entendo) e do Desejo (de algo puro com uma prostituta - porque não?). Faz tudo parte de um mundo único.

Uma das coisas que lamento em 2007 é não ter ido ao concerto de Will Oldham, no Maxime, em Abril. Por outro lado, dadas as circunstâncias (jamais nomeáveis), foi melhor assim. E já passou.
